The development, manufacture, project management, and servicing of onshore wind turbines have been our core competence and passion, driven by our more than 10,400 employees worldwide. Since our merger with Acciona Windpower in 2016, we have grown into a global player and one of the world's largest wind turbine manufacturers.

We offer highly efficient and competitive wind turbine systems that enable long-term, economical power generation from wind energy across all geographical and climatic conditions. Our comprehensive product portfolio provides individual solutions for diverse market needs, whether for markets with limited space or regions with restricted grid capacities. Founded in 1985, we have a proven history of launching industry-leading products. This includes pioneering the mass production of 1 MW turbines in 1995, being the first to enter the 2.5 MW class in 2000, and launching the first 4+ MW class turbine, the N149/4.0-4.5, in 2017. Our current focus is on turbines in the 4+ to 6+ MW class. In select markets, we also operate as a project developer for wind farms. Our production facilities in Germany, Spain, Brazil, the US, and India manufacture nacelles, rotor blades, and concrete towers. With offices and branches in more than 30 countries, our global presence is strong. Our holding company, Nordex SE, is listed on the TecDAX and MDAX of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Our headquarters, housing the Management Board and central corporate functions, is located in Hamburg, while our legal entity is registered in Rostock.
