As a Brand Manager at Neon Flux, you'll drive growth and success for our partnered brands across diverse verticals. Responsibilities include developing deep brand expertise, strategic planning tied to performance metrics, stakeholder management, adherence to brand guidelines, project oversight with tools like Asana, cross-functional coordination, proactive communication with brand partners, and leveraging market insights to optimize strategies. This role demands strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to achieve continuous brand growth and excellence while overseeing multiple brands simultaneously in various industries.

Responsibilities:

Brand Expert:

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of assigned partner brands, encompassing stakeholder dynamics, market positioning, SKU performance, target demographics, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of brand goals, challenges, and unique attributes to inform strategic planning and execution.

E-Commerce Experience:

  • Strong background in e-commerce tech stack, including proficiency with platforms such as Shopify, Sticky.io, ShipStation, PowerBI, Lifetimely, Recharge, Yotpo, and email marketing systems (e.g., Klaviyo), etc.
  • Experience in managing subscription-based business models, customer relationship management (CRM), order fulfillment, shipping logistics, and data analytics within the e-commerce industry.
  • Proven ability to leverage e-commerce tools and platforms to optimize sales performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in marketing asset management systems (MAMS) to organize, maintain, and optimize digital assets for streamlined content creation and distribution processes.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate closely with the strategy team to translate overarching marketing and campaign strategies into detailed, actionable plans that align with brand objectives.
  • Create strategic roadmaps and project plans infused with performance insights and current market trends to drive brand growth and success.

Performance Analysis:

  • Regularly analyze performance marketing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) using advanced tools like PowerBI, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Asana dashboards, and brand scorecards.
  • Identify actionable trends, patterns, and optimization opportunities to enhance campaign performance, brand performance, and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Lead budget discussions with the brand.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Facilitate seamless alignment across various departments (creative, strategy, operations, marketing, growth, ecommerce, etc) to ensure cohesive execution of brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to review campaign performance, share insights, and discuss optimization strategies for effective collaboration.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for brand partners, maintaining regular communication and providing strategic recommendations based on performance metrics, as well as tactically delivering for the brand on key deliverables.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with brand stakeholders to drive collaborative success.

Proactive Communication:

  • Initiate regular communication with brand partners to address needs, concerns, and inquiries.
  • Prepare and present weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly performance reports, insights, and strategy recommendations.

Brand Guidelines Mastery:

  • Ensure all marketing activities and deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain brand style guides and creative briefs for internal teams to ensure consistency.

Meeting Facilitation:

  • Schedule and lead strategic meetings with brand partners, internally and externally.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, facilitate discussions, and track action items using Asana.

Project Oversight:

  • Utilize project management tools like Asana to oversee the delivery of client deliverables.
  • Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor progress to ensure on-time and quality execution.

Budget Management:

  • Coordinate and optimize marketing budgets based on performance metrics and brand priorities.
  • Conduct regular budget reviews and reallocations to maximize ROI.

Market Insight:

  • Stay informed of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities.

Document Control:

  • Maintain organized documentation of brand-related assets, contracts, budgets, and creative materials within internal systems for easy access and retrieval.

Timeline Adherence:

  • Take ownership of brand deadlines and deliverables, proactively managing timelines and addressing bottlenecks to ensure on-time delivery.

Team Collaboration:

  • Communicate clear expectations and priorities to internal teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives creative excellence and innovation.
  • Provide guidance on brand guidelines and performance metrics to support team success.

Issue Resolution:

  • Address and resolve brand-related issues promptly and effectively using your deep brand knowledge and performance insights.
  • Maintain positive brand momentum and client satisfaction across different verticals.

Requirements

  • Experience in e-commerce and/or startup environments.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
  • Inquisitive mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to operate without ego.
  • Demonstrated extreme ownership and accountability for deliverables.
  • Proficient in people and personality management.
  • Capable of identifying, documenting, articulating, and providing solutions for large-scale issues.
  • Effective advocate for the brand and the agency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven track record of successful brand management or marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Asana or similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
