The Manager, Systems Integration will be responsible for guiding and managing the System Integration development team to design, develop, deploy, and maintain both on-prem and cloud-based solutions. The Manager will play a critical role in driving the adoption of best practices in on-prem applications, cloud architecture, security, scalability, and performance optimization. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owner, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products that align with our business goals and strategies.

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of System Integration engineers, providing clear direction, setting performance expectations, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical leads to design scalable and reliable solutions, adhering to best practices and architectural guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with product owner, product manager, business analysts, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with other Software Development Managers to resolve dependency challenges and conflicts.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software development, and leverage this knowledge to make informed decisions that drive technical excellence within the team.
  • Ensure that software products meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, and bottlenecks in projects, and proactively work to mitigate them to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Guide team members to optimize software performance, scalability, and maintainability, with a focus on delivering efficient and reliable solutions.
  • Manage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, performance management, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster clear and transparent communication within the team and across the organization, ensuring that project status, challenges, and accomplishments are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.

What our team expects from you?

  • A four-year college or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems or software engineering and/or a minimum of eight years of work experience is required.
  • Proven 8+ years of experience in software development, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Experience (4+ years) in development using .Net technologies (C#, AST.NET, React, Angular, RESTful API) preferred.
  • ETL experience in development using Talend, Informatica or SSIS preferred.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role, managing and guiding software development teams.
  • Strong expertise in software development methodologies, languages, and frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Experience with cloud-first, API-first and microservice architectures and or strategies.
  • Experience building cloud-native applications in any primary public cloud provider: AWS, or Azure, or GPC is a plus.
  • Experience in the PBM industry, particularly with claim adjudication processes, is a plus.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
