Grants Officer, Natcast Workforce Center of Excellence
In this role, you will ensure compliance and excellence in the administration of awarded workforce programs across the United States, maintaining Natcast's high standards and fostering innovation within the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium.
Every day, you will oversee grant management activities, including documentation in the Oceanwater grant management platform, supporting the grant application process, reviewing proposals to ensure adherence to Natcast standards, and overseeing the performance of a portfolio of awardees.
To thrive in this role, you must possess demonstrated proficiency in grant management and compliance, strong customer service and writing skills, and excellent attention to detail, along with experience in designing award competitions and a strong process design skillset.

The Grants Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the success of Natcast's workforce programs by maintaining compliance, fostering innovation, and integrating best practices in program assessment, grant administration, and KPI monitoring. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of a skilled workforce in the semiconductor industry, contributing to the overall mission of strengthening the domestic semiconductor ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Maintain monitoring, evaluation, and compliance plans to meet Natcast's standards and donor requirements
Develop and maintain a comprehensive database to track program applicants and awardees
Liaise with central finance and legal teams to integrate monitoring systems, ensuring seamless data management and reporting
Regularly update processes and systems to align with best practices and Natcast's standards and donor requirements, utilizing performance results for program improvement
Maintain public-facing applications, FAQs, and other program materials to enable applicants to apply for Natcast programs and understand program requirements
Conduct periodic reviews of monitoring tools and program documentation to incorporate feedback and ensure effectiveness
Review grant proposals and application materials to ensure compliance with eligibility standards and deadlines
Conduct regular check-ins with awardees to ensure compliance with program requirements
Provide valuable input into routine report-outs from awardees, offering insights into program progress and impact
Required Skills and Experience
Demonstrated proficiency in grant management and compliance
Strong customer service skills
Strong writing skills
Familiarity with workforce policy and/or workforce development programs
Experience with grant management platforms, especially Openwater grant management platform, is strongly preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with designing award competitions and/or strong process design skillset required
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Semiconductor experience preferred but not required
