YOUR ROLE AS WEB DEVELOPER WORDPRESS

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with strong experience in both Drupal and WordPress to manage the seamless migration of an existing Drupal-based website to the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of content migration, theme and plugin development, custom module handling, and SEO/URL structure preservation.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze the current Drupal website structure, content types, and features
    • Plan and execute a full migration from Drupal to WordPress, ensuring minimal downtime and no data loss
    • Rebuild or adapt themes and custom functionality in WordPress
    • Ensure design consistency, responsiveness, and performance optimization
    • Maintain SEO integrity, including redirect mappings and permalink structure
    • Test all website features, forms, and integrations post-migration
    • Provide documentation and post-migration support

Requirements

      • 3+ years of experience in web development, with proven expertise in both Drupal and WordPress
      • Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
      • Experience with Drupal 7/8/9 and WordPress CMS
      • Familiarity with custom theme and plugin development
      • Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization
      • Experience with Git, staging environments, and deployment pipelines
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent attention to detail and project documentation

Co-Working days

MySigrid has co-working offices in BGC, Ortigas, and Makati where the whole team meets at least once a month at a minimum.
