YOUR ROLE AS WEB DEVELOPER WORDPRESS
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with strong experience in both Drupal and WordPress to manage the seamless migration of an existing Drupal-based website to the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of content migration, theme and plugin development, custom module handling, and SEO/URL structure preservation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current Drupal website structure, content types, and features
- Plan and execute a full migration from Drupal to WordPress, ensuring minimal downtime and no data loss
- Rebuild or adapt themes and custom functionality in WordPress
- Ensure design consistency, responsiveness, and performance optimization
- Maintain SEO integrity, including redirect mappings and permalink structure
- Test all website features, forms, and integrations post-migration
- Provide documentation and post-migration support
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web development, with proven expertise in both Drupal and WordPress
- Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience with Drupal 7/8/9 and WordPress CMS
- Familiarity with custom theme and plugin development
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization
- Experience with Git, staging environments, and deployment pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and project documentation
