Job Description

Ce poste relève du Directeur associé, Support à la clientèle en pharmacovigilance. Le vétérinaire en pharmacovigilance (PV) fournit un soutien technique en rapport avec les plaintes relatives aux produits et les demandes médicales des clients. Le vétérinaire PV travaillera en étroite collaboration avec d'autres vétérinaires et spécialistes en pharmacovigilance au sein de l'équipe de notre entreprise pour fournir un soutien exceptionnel à la clientèle et pour le reporting nécessaire des plaintes relatives aux produits.

Responsabilités principales incluent :

  • Gérer les plaintes relatives aux produits concernant la santé animale de notre entreprise

  • Reporter les cas selon les procédures de l'entreprise

  • Respecter toutes les exigences de l'équipe PV pour maintenir la conformité avec le reporting des cas

  • Participer aux examens de cas et à la préparation des rapports pour répondre aux exigences de la PV mondiale et des autorités réglementaires canadiennes

  • Fournir des informations médicales et scientifiques relatives aux produits de santé animale de notre entreprise et aux domaines de gestion des maladies pertinents aux vétérinaires canadiens et aux équipes vétérinaires

  • Servir de liaison avec les gestionnaires de comptes en santé animale de notre entreprise pour assurer un soutien fluide et de haute qualité à nos clients

  • Assister à toutes les réunions obligatoires de la santé animale de notre entreprise

  • Interagir régulièrement avec des collègues de l'équipe des services vétérinaires de notre entreprise pour garantir une transmission cohérente des informations techniques aux clients

  • Collaborer avec des collègues en santé animale de notre entreprise au niveau international et au sein de l'équipe mondiale de PV

Qualifications :

  • Diplôme de docteur en médecine vétérinaire d'une université accréditée, avec admissibilité pour obtenir un permis vétérinaire au Canada

  • Minimum de 3 ans de pratique vétérinaire antérieure (privé ou industrie) avec un accent sur la pratique des animaux de compagnie

  • Capacité à comprendre, intégrer et communiquer des concepts scientifiques de manière appropriée aux personnes non professionnelles et professionnelles

  • Maîtrise démontrée des outils informatiques, y compris les produits MS Office

  • Capacité à planifier, organiser et exécuter un travail de haute qualité avec une grande attention aux détails

  • Capacité à travailler efficacement de manière autonome, motivé soi-même

  • Capacité à communiquer efficacement et à naviguer avec succès dans des conversations potentiellement délicates

  • Capacité à collaborer efficacement et à travailler avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour atteindre les objectifs individuels, d'équipe et d'entreprise

  • Agir avec un haut niveau d'intégrité professionnelle et d'intégrité commerciale

  • Disponibilité pour voyager à travers le Canada, aux États-Unis et potentiellement à des réunions internationales, si nécessaire

  • Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et en communication (verbale et écrite)

  • Langue : Anglais, mais le bilinguisme (français) est un atout

Expérience souhaitée :

  • Expérience antérieure en pharmacovigilance est un atout

  • Maîtrise de la base de données PV Works est un atout

  • Connaissance des réglementations gouvernementales liées à la pharmacovigilance est un atout

This position reports to the Associate Director, Pharmacovigilance Customer Support. The Pharmacovigilance (PV) Veterinarian provides technical support related to product complaints and customer medical inquiries. The PV Veterinarian will work closely with other veterinarians and pharmacovigilance specialists within the Our Company’s team to provide exceptional customer support and required product complaint reporting.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing product complaints regarding Our Company’s Animal Health

  • Reporting cases according to company procedures

  • Following all PV team requirements for maintaining compliance with case reporting

  • Assisting in case reviews and report preparations to meet the requirements of Global PV and the Canadian regulatory authorities

  • Providing medical and scientific information related to Our Company’s Animal Health products and relevant disease management areas to Canadian veterinarians and veterinary teams

  • Liaising with Our Company’s Animal Health account managers to ensure seamless and high-quality support to our customers

  • Attending all required Our Company’s Animal Health meetings

  • Engaging regularly with colleagues on the Our Company’s Animal Health Veterinary Services team to ensure consistent delivery of technical information to customers

  • Collaborating with Our Company’s Animal Health colleagues internationally and within the Global PV team

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university, with eligibility for veterinary license in Canada

  • Minimum 3 years previous veterinary practice (private or industry) with emphasis in companion animal practice

  • Ability to understand, integrate and communicate scientific concepts to lay and professional persons accordingly

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency including MS Office products

  • Ability to plan, organize and execute high quality work with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively on own, self-motivated

  • Ability to effectively communicate and successfully navigate potentially challenging conversations

  • Able to effectively collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to drive individual, team and company objectives

  • Perform with a high level of business integrity and professionalism

  • Willingness to travel across Canada, to the U.S.A. and potential international meetings, if needed

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Language: English, but Bilingual (French) is an asset

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in Pharmacovigilance is an asset

  • Proficiency with the PV Works database is an asset

  • Familiarity with government regulations related to pharmacovigilance is an asset

Location:

  • Remote position with periodic travel to Head Office in Kirkland, QC and other meetings, when required.
