JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a talented Short Form Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling through video, exceptional editing skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Short Form Video Editor, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and visually appealing videos tailored for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit short-form videos for various digital platforms, ensuring high-quality and engaging content.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
- Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance video projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and storytelling techniques.
- Optimize video content for different platforms and formats, including aspect ratios and video lengths.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain organized file management and adhere to naming conventions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing short-form video content.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of video production techniques, including color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their video specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in film production, multimedia, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with animation or graphic design is a plus.
