Moochies

We are Moochies, a company pioneering kid-safe, parent-approved mobile devices designed to meet the needs of today’s families. Our journey began in a shopping mall in Australia when our co-founder Ryan experienced that heart-stopping moment when his six-year-old niece, Tallulah, briefly disappeared into the crowd. That fleeting panic sparked the idea for a modern solution to keep parents and kids connected when they're not in sight of each other. While a regular mobile phone was an obvious thought, we knew a young child might forget, lose, or forget to charge it, not to mention the impracticality of carrying a bulky device. This led to the creation of Moochies: a watch that is a fully functioning mobile phone.

Our first product, the Moochies Kids 4G Smartphone Watch, combines cutting-edge telecommunications, smart, and safeguarding technology with style-driven design. We develop, design, and manufacture these phone watches, including the firmware and launcher software. We also develop the MyMoochies app for parents' phones, giving them control over their child's watch, and the server and back-end solution that connects these two, along with a telecom billing platform for a monthly subscription from every active consumer. Our devices enable children to make and receive mobile and video calls from a parent-controlled contact list, send and receive voice and text messages, and share emojis and photos from the built-in camera. Parents can manage all phone functions through the app and utilize safety features like live GPS tracking, safe zones, and SOS alerts. We aim to provide all the benefits of a smart mobile device without the associated risks, worry, high costs, or contractual commitments. We are committed to protecting children from the dangers of social media and the internet by not including browser access on our watches. Our proprietary firmware has parental control and supervision built in from the ground up, and features like Class Mode ensure children can focus on their education without distractions. We are more than just a tech company; we are focused on children's safety and giving parents peace of mind. We even offer features like a step tracker and are proud to be plastic-neutral, donating a percentage of sales to RePurpose Global.
