DevOps Engineer (FinTech & High-Performance Systems)

Location: Remote - Fully Remote throughout EU

Compensation: $95K - $105K

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work directly with our engineering team in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, tackling complex infrastructure problems. You are obsessed with achieving good architecture, efficiency, and resilience, aiming for nothing but the best product for our customers. Your speed, delivery capability, and knack for elegant solutions will make you a pillar of our engineering team.

You will be instrumental in designing, building, managing, and automating the high-availability infrastructure that powers our core financial and crypto services. This role demands deep technical expertise combined with a passion for continuous delivery and security.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Cloud Service Management: Be responsible for building, managing, and supporting automation, continuous delivery, and teamwork across our cloud services (specifically GCP).
• Environment Provisioning: Build and manage virtual instances and cloud services within the public cloud for Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Automation & Deployment: Script, test, and deploy new versions of environments and target infrastructures efficiently.
• Tool Development: Develop specialized tools and services, including those for performance monitoring, security monitoring, deployment/configuration, continuous integration/build servers, and cloud resource creation scripts.
• Architecture: Contribute to designing resilient, highly efficient, and secure infrastructure architecture.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Infrastructure Provisioning: Extensive experience with Infrastructure provisioning tools such as Kubernetes/Docker, Terraform, HTTP Servers, and building CI/CD pipelines, along with strong automation skills.
• Testing: Experience creating and supporting robust test environments and automated testing tools.
• Networking: A solid understanding of networking concepts, technologies, and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, IPSec, HTTP, DNS).
• Build Tools: Expertise with software build tools and version control (e.g., GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Monitoring & Alerting: Proven experience in configuring comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems for production environments.
• Security Mindset: Strong understanding of security protocols for systems handling money and crypto, including knowledge of common attack vectors and ways to mitigate them (e.g., zero-trust policy implementation).
• Team Player: Embodies a culture of collaboration: Credit the team, blame no-one.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Certification:GCP Certification.
• Domain Experience: Experience specifically with Crypto, Payments, and FinTech infrastructures.
• Industry Background: Experience working within a bank or FinTech organization.
