Head of Product (Crypto & AI Consumer Platform)

Location: Remote - Sliding scale - PST preference, US Remote, Asia, Europe

Compensation: $120K - $240K

We are a rapidly evolving technology company building the next generation of consumer products at the intersection of Crypto and AI. Our platform gives users the power to spin up on-chain applications, launch custom tokens, and raise capital in minutes. We are looking for a senior, crypto-native Head of Product who can own our product strategy and execution end-to-end.

This role requires a leader who has demonstrated founder or near-founder level ownership of an entire product surface, ideally within DeFi, a launchpad, or a DEX. You will partner directly with the founding team, drive strategy across our core crypto surfaces, and significantly elevate the quality, taste, and execution speed across the organization.

You will have complete end-to-end accountability for the product strategy and execution across the platform's critical crypto ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy Ownership: Own the full product lifecycle (discovery $\rightarrow$ build $\rightarrow$ launch $\rightarrow$ iteration) across our core crypto surfaces.
  • Founder Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the founders, translating the company vision, market dynamics, and evolving user needs into clear, actionable product direction.
  • Crypto Surface Leadership: Lead the entire crypto product surface, including launchpad features, token mechanics, financial flows, wallet integrations, on-chain incentives, and overall on-chain UX.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Direct, mentor, and significantly up-level existing and future Product Managers, including leading and developing our current PM.
  • Execution Engine: Set the product roadmap, define priorities, run efficient product rituals, and create systems that ensure the organization remains aligned and ships high-quality features at high velocity.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner seamlessly with engineering, design, data, and growth teams to ensure cohesive delivery.
  • Quality Bar: Elevate the product taste and UX across the full user experience, ensuring cohesive, intuitive, and market-leading consumer crypto experiences.
  • Market Intuition: Stay deeply tapped into consumer crypto, DeFi, and "trench culture," leveraging strong market intuition to inform product bets and strategic decisions.
  • Metrics & Growth: Build clear metrics frameworks, define and run A/B experiments, and drive continual improvement across activation, retention, and monetization funnels.

Requirements

1. Founder-Level Product Ownership

  • Must have previously owned an entire product surface at a founder or near-founder level.
  • Proven ability to take a complex crypto or financial product from concept $\rightarrow$ launch $\rightarrow$ scale.
  • Ability to make strategic, high-stakes decisions, manage ambiguity, and operate with full accountability.

2. Deep Crypto Product Experience

  • Direct experience at a real DeFi protocol, launchpad, DEX, or high-velocity consumer crypto product.
  • Strong practical understanding of on-chain UX, token incentives, user behavior, and crypto market dynamics.
  • A true crypto-native operator who actively uses the products and protocols we aim to build for.

3. Strong Taste & UX Leadership

  • Exceptional UX sensibility and elevated product taste.
  • Ability to raise the quality bar and bring cohesion across a diverse product surface.
  • Understands how to build addictively smooth, intuitive consumer crypto experiences.

4. Product Organization Builder

  • Experience managing PMs, establishing product rituals, and leading execution across multiple product surfaces.
  • Comfortable designing and implementing processes that keep a remote, async team aligned without sacrificing speed.
  • Ability to structure and scale the product organization as the company grows.

5. Remote-First Operator

  • Proven experience working asynchronously across multiple time zones.
  • Clear, high-signal communicator who excels in written documentation and remote collaboration.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environments.

  • Competitive Compensation: A competitive base salary in USDC plus a substantial token allocation package, with total target compensation ranging from $120,000 to $240,000 USD, commensurate with experience.
