Our students, whānau, and educators face a rapidly evolving world, which is why we at the Ministry of Education (Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga) are dedicated to shaping an education system that delivers equitable and excellent outcomes for every New Zealander. As the Government's lead advisor on the education system, we play a pivotal role in overseeing early learning, primary and secondary schooling, and tertiary education.
