What this position entails

We can teach you what you need to know about our business and the underwriting industry. What we ask of you is to bring your client service skills and natural drive to answer questions and solve problems.

The Client Integration team works closely with all IntelliScript divisions (e.g. Operations, Data Analytics, Account Management, and Product groups). The ideal candidate will visibly represent a successful, well-respected company to our clients within the insurance underwriting space and be part of a team that works closely together to address all issues swiftly and correctly. What you will be doing

  • Client integration management – Leverage your expertise in IntelliScript’s SaaS products and technical service API to make a significant impact on over 200 clients.
    • Drive and manage client integration timelines in collaboration with internal teams.
    • Schedule and lead meetings with client stakeholders, sharing best practices and integration specifications.
    • Clearly articulate IntelliScript’s technical offerings, including services and APIs.
    • Develop and refine technical documentation for client use.
    • Address client queries and requests during the implementation phase.
  • Advanced support for internal IntelliScript staff – Enhance and streamline existing processes, contributing to IntelliScript's modernization by phasing out obsolete workflows and developing new, efficient tools and processes to align with future business goals.

  • Secondary level client support – Provide expert technical support for more complex client inquiries, complementing the primary support provided by IntelliScript’s Operations team.
    • Promptly address client requests.
    • Investigate and replicate issues to identify solutions.
    • Offer immediate solutions while pursuing more intricate answers.
    • Escalate issues to the appropriate team or individual when necessary.
    • Collaborate with clients via Teams for interactive problem-solving.
    • Assume full responsibility for issues until they are accurately resolved.

What we need

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a related field
  • Proven experience in customer interaction for resolving technical issues
  • Solid understanding of SQL, including:
    • Navigating and interpreting code
    • Writing and optimizing queries
    • Utilizing stored procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Wish list

  • Experience working in environments governed by HIPAA and/or PCI regulations
  • Background in software-as-a-service, actuarial science, or insurance underwriting industries
  • Experience with:
    • API tools like Postman or SoapUI
    • Programming languages including C# or Terraform
    • Coding platforms such as Visual Studio or VSCode
    • Jira Service Management
    • Modern APIs and Web Services
    • AWS, with an understanding of its applications
    • Utilizing AI to enhance efficiency and insight
  • Expertise in technical writing and process improvement

Location

This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI.

The expected application deadline for this job is July 31, 2025.

Compensation

The salary range is $51,000 - $119,000 depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, skills, certifications, and location. If relevant experience is less than 5 years the range would be $51,000 - $98,000; for experience of greater than 5 years, the range would be $61,000 - $119,000. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits.
