Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Software Test Engineer to work 100% remote. The candidate must have an active secret clearance.

• Serves as Lead Software Test Engineer.
• Manages the planning, design, execution and reporting for software tests. Supervise a team of software testers.
• Develops, implements, and maintains the testing/quality assurance/configuration management programs in support of software, hardware and services.
• Establishes standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing and maintenance.
• Develops and defines major and minor characteristics of quality/configuration management (including metrics and scoring parameters) and determines requisite quality control/configuration management resources for an actual task order.
• Conducts or participates in formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the system life cycle.
• Reviews business / software requirements and provides inputs on requirement gaps, testability, and methodology.
• Reviews program documentation and products for quality and adherence to design concepts.
• Prepares milestone status reports and deliveries/ presentations on the system concept to colleagues, end user representatives.
• Ensures coordination of Cybersecurity T&E IAW DoDI 5000.02 and the DoD Risk Management Framework.
• Prepare / review test plans.
• Prepare test cases, test scripts and analyze test data and ensures traceability to requirements.
• Works with the software development group throughout the development process.
• Supports the software configuration management process and understands all software components and their interface requirements.
• Performs software testing at all levels from module or unit testing through all levels of software integration testing and user acceptance tests (manual / automated).
• Reports defects and tracks defects and their status throughout the defect management process.
• Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
• Prepare and present test reports.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
• 8 years with Bachelors degree or 18 years with HS diploma
• Experience with agile methodology, JIRA & testing software.

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
