Sr QA Engineer

MileIQ are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile test automation, with expertise in using Appium and programming languages such as Java or JavaScript. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in manual QA testing and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium.

Design and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile software products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios and requirements.

Participate in manual testing activities as needed, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.

Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements to the development team.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile test automation.

Requirements

Ideal

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in test automation, focusing on mobile applications.
• Proficiency in mobile test automation tools, particularly Appium.
• Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript.
• Experience with manual QA testing methodologies and practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred

• Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with mobile app testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Previous experience in a senior role within a QA team.
