Who is Miga?

• Miga is a virtual heart health clinic.

• We prevent and manage obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes, using medications and intensive lifestyle interventions.

• Our clinical care is delivered over video visits and async chat by physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), registered dietitians, and health coaches.

• Care is augmented by a character-driven, gamified app, connected devices, and our own tech platform/EHR that enables scalable, efficient, and high-quality clinical services.

What’s my mission?

The Growth role exists to accelerate Miga's user acquisition and retention strategies, ensuring sustainable growth and a desirable CAC payback. This role will optimize our performance marketing efforts, develop effective retention strategies, and identify a secondary non-paid channel to diversify our growth portfolio.

What will I do?

• Process

  • You will develop a clear and concise process for prioritizing efforts and running experiments. The process must support high velocity experimentation and be easily shared and understood by the rest of the company.

• Performance marketing

  • You will own the performance and quality of our ads, landing pages and quiz, including: development of ad creative, copywriting, landing page design, and form/quiz pathways. You will have support from design and engineering on this.

• Lifecycle marketing

  • You will build an integrated patient onboarding program with triggered lifecycle marketing initiatives (emails, sms, notifications, in-app messaging) designed to drive retention of our patients.

• Analytics

  • You will implement a complete analytics stack and create quantitative models and dashboards to show the health of acquisition and retention metrics. You will have data team support on this.

• New channel

  • You will select and run experiments across various channels end-to-end, and find a new non-paid channel to double down on and diversify Miga’s growth.

• Patient research

  • You will be obsessed with our patients so that you can learn why they are converting and why they’re not. Review existing research, conduct new interviews, review Facebook/Reddit/other comments, and dive deep on our patients.

Who is Miga looking for?

We are searching for candidates with:

• A strong desire to make the world a better place by preventing unnecessary heart attacks and strokes.

• 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, including 2+ years of leading growth initiatives in a consumer company across multiple channels.

• The ability to be self-sufficient and take initiative without needing to be told what to do.

• An obsession for behavioral and cognitive psychology, and who love to empathize with patients.

• A deep understanding of performance marketing and email marketing strategies.

• Demonstrated ability to engage constructively and collaboratively with engineers, designers, and company leaders.

• Writing talent, that can capture and hold attention through ad creative, emails, texts, and landing pages.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Technical proficiency and the ability to write some code.

• Experience working in consumer healthcare delivery.

What does the interview process look like?

1. One 20-minute phone screening with me, Dre

2. One 120-minute Zoom call with my co-founder, Jarrad and me, to discuss your work history.

3. Four 30-minute meetings with key stakeholders on the team.

4. Four reference checks with former managers and colleagues.
