Seeking students interested in gaining practical experience in quality assurance (QA) software testing, process improvement, project coordination, and healthcare IT.
- Position: QA Automation Engineer Intern
- Duration: August 11th, 2025 – April 24th, 2026
- Part time, working 15 – 29 hours/week
- Remote, based in Michigan (Eastern Time Zone)
- Wage: $14/hour

The student internship program accepts international students with up-to-date work authorization for off-campus employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Behave, API testing.
- Collaborate with the software development team and integration services team to understand project requirements, technical specifications, and use cases, to build comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, working closely with software developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in unit testing, regression testing and functional testing of new health IT product features.
- Note, the products you will test are for data integration, data transfer, and data exchange via integration service engines. This position will work on the Integration Services Team.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Interest in healthcare information technology as a career path.
- Ability to effectively build rapport in a remote working environment.
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be legally eligible to work in the US and off-campus.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital tools like Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Outlook, and Teams.
