WHAT YOU’LL DO:
MGT is seeking a Consulting Analyst to collect, analyze and present data to clients using detailed Excel files, tables, and reports. The ideal candidate is proactive, enjoys working with information in tools like Excel, and is comfortable engaging with clients, staying informed on best practices for managing multiple projects and client needs. This is an entrepreneurial environment that fosters learning and encourages process improvement. This position is ideal for someone that is looking to enhance their analytical skills and learn about government consulting.
- Collects, compiles, and synthesizes data from multiple data sources
- Leads data mining, data manipulation, data cleansing, record matching, table linking, table structures, and importing and exporting data
- Verifies the accuracy and completeness of data for analysis
- Provides problem-solving skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Assists in client discussions related to specific work product or task of a project
- Performs additional related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- This is a Jr Level position looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required or equivalent relevant experience accepted
- One (1) year or more of experience working with data, statistics, or analytical research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to prepare clear and meaningful analysis and communicate results in person and via client materials to a variety of audiences
- Ability to be flexible to and adapt to the dynamic nature of multiple concurrent consulting engagements
- Ability to travel depending on the sales cycle and client needs
