Mews is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Data Insights team to help deliver operational insights about their business, Mews Fintech, and bring value to their customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, proficiency in SQL, and experience with cloud data solutions. They will work closely with other data analysts, data scientists, and the data engineering team to build self-serve Looker reporting, develop data pipelines, and conduct ad-hoc data analysis.

Requirements

High level of proficiency in SQL
Experience with building BI reports in tools like Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
Basic understanding of cloud data solutions preferably Azure platform
Experience supporting finance, fintech, or payment systems is especially useful
Some experience with data analysis in Python/R/Scala and data transformation using dbt is a plus
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in written and verbal English
