Job Description
- Listing own brand (OB), supplier brand and Metro's own imported products in accordance with legal regulations, customer expectations and company demands, and carrying out periodic checks.
- Organizing/carrying out supplier audits in terms of food and product safety, social compliance and sustainability or monitoring the currency of supplier certificates.
- Managing non-conformities detected in internal and external audits in the store.
- Supporting the implementation of food safety management systems such as IFS Wholesale and IFS Logistics.
- Following up customer complaints regarding food safety and quality regarding products, requesting corrective action from suppliers when necessary, and informing stores and categories.

- Following the legal regulations and meeting the requirements regarding the sale and marketing of the food products that one is responsible for.
- Taking part in special projects related to food safety, sustainability and quality regarding food product groups that one is responsible for.
- Managing the quality processes of supplier platforms and other meat platforms that produce Metro brand and supplier brand products at the supplier facility.
- Managing the quality processes of store-produced meat and other store-produced products.
Qualifications
- University degree in Food Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of similar experience
- Knowledge of food production processes, food safety, food microbiology, food regulations
- Knowledge of international GFSI food safety management systems and sustainability management systems (RSPO, MSC, ASC, etc.) certifications
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications
