JOB TITLE: Client Engagement Team Lead

DEPARTMENT: Sales Enablement

REPORTS TO: Director of Sales Enablement

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Client Engagement Specialist (CES) Team Lead utilizes our Meteor Core Values to build positive relationships with

their team, clients and customers that will translate to sales for our sales teams. Their responsibilities revolve around

performing research and analysis to identify client needs, key stakeholders (decision makers), develop sales leads,

and opportunities. The CES is responsible for these key areas:

● Customer Communicator – Recruit, Attain and Retain

● Qualification – Validation of top-of-funnel opportunities for CRM dispensing for sales acceleration

● Outreach – Sales prospecting for filtering of project opportunities

● Customer Service – create first impressions of Meteor for customers

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

● Leads team of CESs determining focus and direction on a weekly/monthly basis to assist in pipeline fill on a

continuous basis

● Continually develop CESs to grow skillset and embrace learning through failure

● Supports Directors of Market Development and Learning Environment Specialists in developing customer

relationships

● Walks with the client through the customer journey aligning our solutions with their needs

● Manages targeted audience identified leads by nurturing those not yet ready to buy and moving lead

top-of-funnel prospects down the sales funnel for qualification

● Coordinates continually with DMDs and LESs to establish cadence with customer

● Creation and build-out of CES role

● Works closely with Studios in executing go-to-market strategies

● Delivers our Brand Promise and acts as an evangelist for Meteor

● Initiates follow-up communication such as Executive Briefs, Trade Shows, Website leads, E-commerce and/or

Insights leads.

● Co-leads Transactional Sales Initiative

● Aligns CES activities within the framework and strategy of the Sales Enablement Plan

● Other responsibilities as the role evolves

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

● Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

● Bachelor’s degree in Business or in similar or related field a plus

● 2-5 years of prior sales or lead development experience preferred

● Demonstrated CRM knowledge

● Demonstrated Leadership qualities

Skills and Abilities

● Builds and maintains lasting relationships with clients

● Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

● Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues

● Possesses a metrics-oriented mindset with an aptitude for tracking progress while setting and meeting goals

● Positive and persistent, self-driven

● Ability to study and learn new things quickly while thinking on one’s feet and problem-solving

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
