United States only- Serve as technical expert in our mobile app and a source of information to the rest of Customer Operations team.
- Be the representative of quality for products/features, assess risk and formulate test strategies to ensure shipping features with a high quality bar.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team as well as product team in planning and executing functional, regression, verification, and end-to-end release test plans.
- Coordinate QA testing and bug bashes with internal resources as well as external third-party vendor team.
- Investigate, triage, and escalate issues surfaced from test runs during a feature/product beta and alpha stages.
- Define quality metrics and implement measurement to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of our QA effort.
- Continuously improve the overall efficiency of the ProdOps QA testing and triaging process, as well as update and evolve team workflow's documentation.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.permitted.
- Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer related occupation. Experience must include 3 years of experience in the following:
- Testing and debugging Web or Mobile Applications for iOS or Android
- Black Box test planning and execution for both Functional Testing as well as E2E Release Testing
- Balancing independent tasks/goals while contributing to team goals and collaborating with other team members
- Testing background in at least one of the following: Functional, GUI, Integration, BAT, Black Box, Gray Box, Exploratory, Regression, or Smoke
- Testing on Mobile platforms: iOS and Android
- Testing on Desktop Operating Systems: Windows, macOS, and Unix/Linux
- Testing Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, REST, JSON, and JavaScript
- Development methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, BDD, and continuous integration
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
