Aufgaben

As a Software Engineer at meshcloud you work on making our product meshStack better every day. meshStack powers internal developer platforms in large organizations and your work directly impacts how platform teams can improve developer experience for thousands of application teams around the world. You find solutions to interesting engineering challenges and deliver value to our customers by shipping continuously. As a member of our Engineering Flock you take pride in your work results and own the processes and practices that help us build and ship outstanding products.

What we are looking for:

• Strong product mindset: You care about user experience and consistency in APIs and domain design
• You have experience working on both frontend and backend and like to build features end-to-end
• Strong foundations: You know your SOLID principles, how to keep code simple so it remains maintainable long-term, and have a good understanding of distributed systems
• You like working in cross-functional teams with colleagues from Customer Success, our Resident Platform Engineers, and appreciate the opportunity to get insights directly from early adopters
• You love diving into new technologies and leverage AI with taste and care

Qualifikation

Must Haves

• Solid experience in Kotlin, Java, TypeScript or similar languages (e.g. C#) and you are eager to apply your skills to our stack (Kotlin and Typescript)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in successfully shipping fullstack applications on a major tech stack (ours is Spring Boot + Angular, but we are open to other experiences)
• Basic understanding of cloud native technologies like Kubernetes or any major cloud platform
• You ensure long-term code quality by writing meaningful tests with common frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Jasmine, Cypress)
• Fluency in English
• A genuine commitment to fostering a culture of care, respect, and empathy, welcoming and supporting all individuals regardless of background or identity

Nice-to-haves

• First-hand experience working with Terraform or another major IaC tool
• You've worked in or on Platform Engineering before
• You're a polyglot and know other languages and tools too (Go, python)
