The story of MB2 Dental is a narrative of entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to reshape the dental industry. It all began with Dr. Chris Steven Villanueva, a dentist who, after graduating in 2004, followed a traditional path. He worked in private practices and eventually opened his own in Dallas at the young age of 27. However, Dr. Villanueva soon realized the inherent challenges faced by solo practitioners – the administrative burdens that detracted from patient care and the isolation that stifled professional growth. He envisioned a different model, one that would preserve the autonomy and clinical freedom of private practice while providing the support and resources of a larger organization. This vision was the seed from which MB2 Dental would grow.

In 2007, this vision materialized into America's first Dental Partnership Organization (DPO). What started as Dr. Villanueva's single practice soon resonated with his colleagues, who were drawn to the idea of a collaborative community where they could remain in control of their practices while benefiting from shared services like HR, marketing, and finance. This doctor-centric model, born from a genuine understanding of the profession's pain points, quickly gained traction. The growth was organic, fueled by doctor referrals and a shared belief in a better way to practice dentistry. From a handful of practices, MB2 Dental embarked on a remarkable journey of expansion, partnering with hundreds of dentists across the United States. This growth wasn't just about numbers; it was about building a community of like-minded professionals dedicated to clinical excellence and mutual success, fundamentally transforming the landscape of dental practice ownership.
