Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the St. Louis or Chicago office:
Senior Investment Research Analyst

We will count on you to:
- Support senior researchers in undertaking due diligence on investment management firms and their strategies, primarily with respect to equity strategies.
- Support senior researchers in making recommendations to the firm’s investment consultants as to the capability and suitability of the strategies for institutional clients.
- Assist in preparing written reports covering research and points of view resulting from meetings with investment managers.
- Qualitative and quantitative reasoning of a manager’s investment strategy and philosophy, portfolio management capabilities, and ability to implement investment ideas.
- Assist researchers and consultants during manager searches, including preparing comparative analysis on manager candidates.
- Work on asset class or strategy specific research projects.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related discipline.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated rational and critical thinking skills.

- Prior experience in institutional investment management or consulting industry.
