We are seeking a talented individual to join our Controllership Team as the Deputy Finance Controller. This role is dedicated to supporting all controller operations in Poland & the Baltics and coordinating our strategic project for the next 12 months. This role will be based in Warsaw, Poland. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Manage all statutory, regulatory, and tax management matters in the sub-region.
- Coordinate the implementation projects for JPK_ST_KR, JPK_KR_PD, e-billing, and any other projects that may arise.
- Provide assistance to Regional Management.
- Oversee and ensure that US GAAP reporting and approvals are done properly and in place.
- Maintain relations with internal and external stakeholders, including external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors.
What you need to have:
- At least 10 years of experience in accounting/audit/controllership in a global organization.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Polish tax (VAT, CIT, WHT) and accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of US GAAP.
- Fluent English and great command of Excel.
- Strong project management skills and understanding of processes and controls.
- Excellent communication skills and team management abilities.

- Experience as a chief accountant/accounting manager responsible for statutory reporting or BIG 4 audit experience.
- Working knowledge of Oracle 12.
- Experience managing various process improvement initiatives.
