Client Onboarding Specialist

You will be an essential part of a highly skilled team accountable for collaborating with our sales and broking colleagues to onboard new clients and manage the renewal / expansion of our engagement with existing clients. You will work towards ensuring we understand our clients’ servicing preferences and monitor our service delivery to meet our client’s expectations. You will also work directly with our Account Executives/Broking colleagues to support them in the transition of new clients to Marsh.

We will count on you to:

Collaborate directly with our sales and broking colleagues to support the transition of new clients to the firm and manage activities associated with the renewal and expansion of our existing client relationships, including but not limited to the following tasks:

• Coordinating all facets of client set up on internal systems.
• Gathering client servicing preferences and instructions and storing them for use by client service teams.
• Coordinating client team assignments.
• Ensuring client agreements are executed and fee invoices are requested.
• Providing progress updates to the account owner on status.

What you need to have:

• Interpersonal & customer service orientation to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional organisational skills. Onboarding requires coordination with multiple colleagues and functions so being organised is important to your success in this role.
• Strong communication skills. You will collaborate with clients and client teams so strong verbal and written communication skills are critical.
• Exceptional time management skills. Although this role is highly collaborative, your work is also self-directed so you will need to effectively manage your time.
• Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines. This is essential to guarantee we’re providing excellent service to our clients and that they are ready to transact with us as soon as possible.
• Attention to detail is critical to ensure we’re providing accurate information to our clients, client teams and functional support teams.
• Ability to think creatively and be flexible.
• Ability and aptitude to conduct research and solve problems.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency. Knowledge of basic Excel formulas, pivot tables, and Outlook organization will be beneficial.
