Field Testing Specialist, Driver Operations

Mapbox is seeking a Field Testing Specialist to join their Driver Operations team. The role involves conducting weekly in-vehicle testing to support cross-functional development and validation efforts. The team coordinates with internal teams and third-party partners to execute test cycles and provide actionable feedback. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in automotive test coordination, experience with troubleshooting hardware and software systems, and a solid understanding of vehicle electronics, navigation, and mapping technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of automotive testing coordination experience
• Valid driver's license and passport
• Hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting in-vehicle environments
• Command-line proficiency including ADB (Android Debug Bridge)
• Familiarity with CAN, ADAS, navigation architecture, and mapping tech
