The International Group Program (IGP), a division of Manulife Financial Corporation, is a global network of insurers (Network Partners) who collaborate to offer coordinated employee benefits solutions to multinational companies around the world, providing greater efficiency, flexibility, detailed reporting and seamless administration.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit financial reports for our Multinational Clients received from our Global Network Partners to ensure a full understanding of the data provided, ensuring accuracy of the reports received.

  • Negotiate corrections and changes to financial reporting submissions with our Global Network Partners as required, negotiating delivery dates to ensure Client annual reporting timelines are met.

  • Technical trainer and consultant for our Global Network Partners, ensuring best in class delivery and accuracy of annual and quarterly reporting.

  • Gather data from various source systems (PRISM, Salesforce) to identify, research and analyze experience trends by region, country, line of risk and by IGP product type. Engage and lead IGP Underwriter and the local Network Partner underwriting teams for each jurisdiction to identify and implement proactive responses to address those trends.

  • Engage Global Network Partners and Lead Underwriters on underperforming Employee Benefit contracts, understanding root causes and influencing the actions taken locally by our Network Partner and directing the action within IGP to address the performance.

  • Participate in annual audits of our Global Network Partners under the direction of the Lead IGP Underwriter.

  • Participate in projects providing technical support aimed at operational efficiency and reporting accuracy and making recommendations for testing and implementation.

  • Technical trainer, consultant and mentor to IGP Administration staff, including BPO operations and other functional units within IGP on Policy Year End Report (PYER) completion and review.

  • Conduct technical QA peer reviews of IGP Administration and BPO reporting completion and review for the accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 2 - 3 years of International Employee Benefit experience including progressive business analysis experience.

  • Excellent knowledge of IGP’s functional applications (PRISM, Salesforce).

  • Superior analytical skills.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Ability to analyze and solve numerous complex issues.

  • Good understanding of the Employee Benefit offerings of our Global Network Partners.

  • Solid appreciation of the needs of Clients, advisors, Account Development teams and other IGP operation departments.

  • Excellent organizational skills ensuring Global Network Partner and Client files are organized and maintained in line with department and Corporate standards.

  • Strong knowledge of functions and services performed by IGP Administration and BPO Operations.

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and in writing.

  • Demonstrates confidence/resilience in everyday situations.

  • Flexible, creative and responsive to customer needs and to miscellaneous assignments as assigned.

  • Responds to challenges and opportunities in a positive and productive manner.

  • Manages own performance priorities and outcome including tracking of work for productivity, turnaround time reporting and other miscellaneous reporting requirements.

  • Identify and make recommendations to streamline existing processes and implement once approved. Support the development and implementation of new processes.

  • Attention to accuracy and detail is critical.

  • Takes personal accountability when acting on all customer requests or issues.

  • Good PC skills; knowledge of PC-Based software (Excel, Word and Windows).

  • Project-specific decisions, working with the business and external stakeholders.

Salary range is expected to be between

$60,375.00 USD - $100,625.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
