We are seeking a highly experienced Application Management Manager to support a major corporate transformation initiative. The project involves the separation of an existing organization into two independent divisions, requiring stable, secure, and well-coordinated management of SAP and related enterprise applications throughout the transition.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in overseeing application operations, managing system changes, and ensuring seamless business continuity during the separation process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end management of SAP and other business-critical applications during a corporate division split project.
Develop and implement the application management strategy, governance model, and operational framework aligned with organizational and project requirements.
Ensure stable application operations, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
Coordinate application-related activities for system carve-outs, integrations, and transitions between the newly separated divisions.
Collaborate closely with business process owners, technical teams, and external service providers to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
Monitor and maintain application performance, availability, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
Oversee vendor management, contract adherence, and SLA performance.
Support cutover planning, hypercare, and post-transition stabilization to ensure uninterrupted business processes.
Prepare and maintain documentation, operational procedures, and system landscape overviews.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Application Management Manager or similar leadership role, preferably within SAP-driven environments.
Strong understanding of SAP modules, integration points, and application lifecycle management processes.
Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale transformation programs, corporate separations, or SAP carve-out projects.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities in a complex, multinational environment.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Fluent English and strong, confident Spanish language skills are mandatory.
Experience working with ITIL processes and managing external service providers is a significant advantage.
