Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and a passion for working with large and complex datasets. As a Data Engineer at Lorgarithm, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, as well as developing and optimizing data pipelines to support our data analytics and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
• Develop and maintain data models to support business intelligence and analytics needs
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and implement solutions to improve data quality
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability
• Develop and maintain data governance and security policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering tools and techniques and make recommendations for process improvements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide technical expertise and support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
