Overview

LMI is seeking a Business Analyst to join a high-performing team supporting a government healthcare client. The role will apply analytical, communication, and facilitation skills while leveraging Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles to support stakeholder engagement, platform adoption, and user training efforts.

This position can be supported remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, execution, and refinement of stakeholder engagement strategies to align diverse perspectives and foster trust across user groups.
  • Support the generation of adoption artifacts, such as onboarding materials, training guides, FAQs, and technical enablement documentation for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to refine communications and training plans that drive platform adoption and optimize user workflows.
  • Research and interpret federal and state health policies, regulations, and guidance to identify system impacts and inform program execution plans.
  • Assist with facilitating discussions between stakeholders, product teams, and SMEs to gather and consolidate requirements for user engagement and adoption strategies.
  • Document and track feedback from stakeholders through iterative refinement processes and analytic tools.
  • Develop concise summary reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including action items, decision logs, and meeting notes.
  • Participate in the creation of operational readiness plans and resistance mitigation strategies for platform deployment.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to issuers in support of technical platform enablement, ensuring successful integration.
  • Triage and respond to internal and external inquiries, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Use modeling tools (Visio, Miro, Excel, etc.) to develop processes, visualizations, use cases and user stories.
  • Develop and evaluate workflows and execution practices to recommend approaches that support the delivery of new business processes and process improvement to optimize solutions and prioritize greatest impact.
  • Leverage GenAI tools to enhance content development, improve efficiency in stakeholder engagement tasks, and drive data-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Public Health, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Policy Analyst, Consultant, or similar role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and deliver stakeholder communications and training materials.
  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate in cross-functional teams and stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with excellent organization and adaptability in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in basic visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to identify trends and deliver insights.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with federal healthcare programs, particularly CMS, HHS, or VA initiatives.
  • Understanding of Agile workflows, including user stories and backlog refinement.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements-elicitation sessions.
  • Exposure to GenAI-enabled workflows for content generation or operational analytics.
  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) for tracking tasks and requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Human-Centered Design (HCD) or similar methodologies for stakeholder engagement and adoption management.

Target Salary Range: $63,000 - $107,000
