Senior Frontend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in React and Next.js to join our team based in Lecce, Italy.

In this role, the ideal candidate will be accountable for all aspects of the software development lifecycle for frontend projects. With deep understanding of frontend development, the role will play a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of our web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-friendly, responsive, and performant web applications using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to gather requirements and translate them into scalable frontend solutions.
• Take ownership of the frontend development process, from prototyping and implementation to deployment and maintenance.
• Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to improve code quality and team productivity.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends and best practices, and proactively propose improvements to enhance the development process.
• Participate in the estimation and planning of development tasks, ensuring realistic timelines and delivering high-quality work within set deadlines.
• Write technical documentation as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Experience on React and Next.js for developing complex and responsive modern user interfaces.
• Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and CSS pre-processors (e.g., SASS, LESS) and build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite).
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and test-driven development practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design principles.
• Expertise on CI/CD, Figma, and building micro frontends will be considered as an asset.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
