Leidos Health & Civil Sector is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Quality Auditor to join our team. This position directly supports programs which provide a broad array of information, resources, referrals, mental health coaching and specialized support for military members and their families worldwide. These programs are directly responsible for supporting military community quality of life issues.

Under the guidance and direction of the Auditing Manager, the Licensed Quality Auditor implements, monitors and reports on the one or two quality issues that assess appropriateness, need for, and effectiveness utilizing the established approach for measuring performance goals, participant outcomes, indicators, and sources of data related to case records for non-medical counseling, as outlined in the Quality Management Plan. Gathers, reviews, consolidates, and evaluates all program service delivery information focusing on key quality factors including appropriateness, effectiveness, successful outcomes; and any or all of the dimensions of quality such as accessibility, availability, efficiency, continuity, safety, timeliness, and respectfulness, consistent with Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) standards and Council on Accreditation (COA) or Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) Performance Indicators . Reviews and escalates all adverse events to the Auditing Manager and the Director of Program Operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducts evaluation of a random sampling of open and closed cases for presence, clarity, quality, and continuity of required documents using uniform forms to ensure consistency and accuracy of data.

  • In collaboration with the Quality and Duty to Warn Quality Auditors, identifies, and submits patterns, trends, and recommended remedies to the Auditing Manager, resulting from case data reviewed and analyzed.

  • Escalates any pattern in lack of presence, clarity, quality, and continuity of required documents.

  • Accesses the government eCMS as part of auditing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in a behavioral health related field such as social work, psychology, marriage/family therapy, or counseling with 2+ years of prior relevant work experience.

  • A current valid unrestricted counseling license/certification from a State, D.C., a U.S. Commonwealth, or a U.S. Territory that grants the authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner in their respective fields.

  • Experience inimplementing, monitoring and reporting on quality issues in accordance with the Council on Accreditation (COA) or Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) standards.

  • Strong analytical thinking, math and data analysis skills. Attention to detail and critical thinking. Must be a self-directed, independent worker.

  • Strong customer service skills, knowledge of call center operations, and knowledge and understanding of military lifestyle and culture.

  • Proven proficiency in: Microsoft based tools including Word, Outlook, Excel; web based research; electronic documentation systems.

  • U.S. citizen and ability to speak fluent English.

  • Ability to pass a criminal history and fingerprint background checks, and credential review/verification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Veteran/military retiree, wounded warrior, and/or military spouse.

  • Experience working with and/or for military communities.

  • Call center experience.

  • Employee assistance program (EAP) experience.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00

Another major milestone occurred in August 2016 when Leidos merged with Lockheed Martin's Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS) business, a landmark transaction that created the defense industry's largest IT services provider and significantly expanded Leidos' capabilities and market share.
