Leidos’ Digital Modernization Health IT division is seeking a Senior Cloud Delivery and Agile Project Manager to lead high‑visibility modernization initiatives that directly strengthen U.S. healthcare systems. This role places you at the center of mission‑critical cloud transformation, Agile delivery leadership, and enterprise‑scale innovation.

As a Senior Cloud Delivery and Agile Project Manager, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for driving complex cloud migration initiatives and delivering high-impact solutions for our clients. You will oversee large-scale, cross-functional Agile projects, ensuring seamless cloud adoption, optimization, and ongoing support. Your expertise in Agile methodologies, cloud technologies, and stakeholder management will be critical in shaping the organization’s cloud transformation journey and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, providing vision, guidance, and status updates on cloud migration and delivery projects.

    • Develop and execute cloud migration strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.

    • Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

  • Agile Project Management

    • Lead multiple, concurrent Agile teams through the full project lifecycle, from planning and backlog refinement to delivery and retrospectives.

    • Champion Agile best practices, facilitate ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives), and drive continuous improvement across teams.

    • Mentor and coach project managers, Scrum Masters, and team members to elevate Agile maturity and delivery excellence.

  • Cloud Migration & Delivery

    • Oversee the migration of complex application portfolios to cloud environments (public, private, or hybrid).

    • Ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and compliant with enterprise and regulatory standards.

    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud adoption, including security, performance, and operational impacts.

  • Oversight & Reporting

    • Develop and present executive-level reports, dashboards, and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.

    • Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes, lessons learned, and best practices.

    • Document and escalate complex issues as needed, utilizing Agile practices to address and resolve issues swiftly.

  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation

    • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and Agile frameworks to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

    • Lead post-migration optimization efforts to maximize value and performance of cloud investments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 5 years in Agile environments.

  • Proven track record leading large-scale cloud migration and delivery projects in complex, multi-vendor environments.

  • Advanced Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe Program Consultant, or equivalent).

  • Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud migration methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud security best practices.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Experience managing executive stakeholders and presenting to C-level audiences.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree, preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PgMP certification.

  • Experience in healthcare, government, or highly regulated industries.

  • AI/ML or advanced cloud certification.

  • Experience with portfolio management tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

  • Knowledge of federal security and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00

Leidos' story begins in 1969 when Dr. J. Robert Beyster, a visionary scientist, founded Science Applications Incorporated (SAI) in La Jolla, San Diego, California. With a modest investment and a powerful idea, Dr. Beyster embarked on a journey to apply scientific expertise to solve complex problems. Leidos, as the legal successor to the original SAIC, inherited its pre-2013 stock price and corporate filing history and established its new headquarters in Reston, Virginia. This strategic move allowed Leidos to sharpen its focus on national security, health, and engineering solutions. Another major milestone occurred in August 2016 when Leidos merged with Lockheed Martin's Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS) business, a landmark transaction that created the defense industry's largest IT services provider and significantly expanded Leidos' capabilities and market share. Today, Leidos stands as a Fortune 500® global science and technology leader, employing approximately 47,000 people worldwide and generating billions in annual revenue, committed to making the world safer, healthier, and more efficient through innovation and technology.
