Latitude AI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, is dedicated to transforming the driving experience for millions of customers. Our customers often face tedious and unpleasant driving conditions, such as bumper-to-bumper traffic or long stretches of highway. That's why we are developing advanced automated driving technology, with an initial focus on a hands-free, eyes-off driver assist system for next-generation Ford vehicles. We believe this technology will make travel safer, less stressful, and more enjoyable, ultimately giving drivers the latitude to make better use of their time behind the wheel. The average driver in the U.S. spends nearly 100 hours a year in traffic, and we see an opportunity to redefine the relationship between people and their vehicles by automating driving during these challenging times.

Founded in 2023, Latitude AI brings together a world-class team of approximately 550 experts in machine learning, robotics, software, sensors, cloud platforms, mapping, systems engineering, and test operations. Many of our team members transitioned from Argo AI, bringing a wealth of experience in automated driving. We operate with the speed and agility of a startup, combined with the discipline, manufacturing, and scaling excellence of Ford. Our headquarters are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with additional engineering centers in Dearborn, Michigan, and Palo Alto, California, as well as a highway-speed test track facility in Greenville, South Carolina. We are committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, where every voice is heard, and everyone is empowered to contribute to our mission of creating a real, positive impact on the driving experience for millions.
