Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings has an opening for a QA Analyst. This is a remote position; can work anywhere in the U.S.

Job Description:

  • Review user stories, technical specifications, user documentation, help files, and other documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.

  • Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for clinical science development and various other software products; i.e. perform automated dynamic testing.

  • Work with the development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs, and other Development test objects for continuous build integration.

  • Work closely with the DevOps Engineers to create and maintain automated build verifications.

  • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.

  • Research and document bug reports following agreed-upon processes immediately upon discovery of a quality problem.

  • Update test execution status following agreed-upon processes as part of automated metrics.

  • Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks.

  • Assist in the creation of test project status reports and metrics (e.g., Test Dashboard).

  • Provide accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies for automated testing.

  • Prepare test plans and schedules.

  • Provide technical guidance to developers and other test engineers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience as a QA Analyst, IT Developer or related role.

  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience in development and scripting.

  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience developing sub-UI and UI based scripts with tools like Selenium or RIT or Visual Studio or UFT, and custom code.

  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience in all aspects of functional testing across a broad set of technologies.

  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience working on enterprise software systems.

Approximately 40 hours per week; salary range is $108,243-$115,200 per year.
