Genetic Counselor - Remote

Labcorp is seeking a US Remote based Genetic Counselor to join our team! This position will provide both comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling and will also support our Results Reporting group.Work ScheduleMonday — Friday, 8am — 5pm eastern time zoneResponsibilitiesProvide virtual comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling to a diverse patient population following established genetic counseling practice guidelines and proceduresProvide focused genetic counseling regarding carrier screening and cell‑free DNA results; will support multiple clients nationallyEnsure proper completion of counseling paperwork and documentationCommunicate relevant results and coordinate appropriate follow‑up, per client‑specific requirementsConsult regularly with the clinical geneticist(s) and managers, as appropriate to the situationParticipate regularly in staff meetings with counselors in the regionServe as a genetic information resource for specific referring physician inquiriesMaintain appropriate client interaction and confidentialityEngage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications, physician education and other projectsAccess the expertise of a nation‑wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleaguesEnjoy benefits including a competitive compensation package, CEU educational support and reimbursement for genetic counseling certificationParticipate in educational and research initiatives within LabcorpMinimum QualificationsMasters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic CounselingAmerican Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGCAdditional Job StandardsAbility to obtain multi‑state licensure including NJ and PAHighly organized, including excellent time management skillsStrong multi‑tasking ability with excellent attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and oralStrong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft OfficeApplication Window Closes: 5/7/2026Pay Range: $85,000 – $120,000 / yearAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.BenefitsEmployees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
