The Role

Do you want to be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions? Within our Network Services team at Kyndryl, you will be the go-to expert for providing top-of-the-line technical solutions throughout the entire solution lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating local and wide-area network solutions that utilize multiple platforms and protocols, ensuring that our customers have the best possible network infrastructure to support their business needs.

Your skills in routers, networking controllers, bridges, and networking software will be essential as you troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors to install the latest hardware and software, such as routers and switches. Azure experience, F5 WAF skills and ACIare essential for this role. Not only will you help keep our customer’s networks running smoothly, but you will also work on project implementation and solutions with networking system technology.

In this role, you'll:

• Manage a steady state network environment by handling incidents, service requests and changes

• Maintain the Web Application Firewalls and continually provide recommendations to fully utilize this technology

• Contribute to high-quality technical solutions to prepare customers for implementation, go-live phases, and ongoing maintenance.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• A technical degree is preferred (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field), or equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

• 8+ years of experience in network support, configuration, and implementation.

• 8+ years of experience in core switching, routing, MPLS, and firewalls.

• Proven experience with Azure, F5 WAF (Web Application Firewall), and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment.

• Data center experience and expertise in networking and security architecture across local, regional, and global domains.

• Ability to manage multiple IT projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience designing and implementing Software Defined Networks (SDN) and managing large, complex networks.

• Proficiency in protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP EVPN, VXLAN, and VPC.

• Active L1/2/3 security clearance is highly preferred.

• This is a fully remote role supporting clients across Canada. Candidates can reside anywhere within Canada.

• You must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.

• Employees may be required to work outside typical hours for ad hoc requests or support. This is a 24/7 network environment.
