KIS is looking for a talented Tech Lead Java to join a growing team working on a global project. Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team working on large and complex systems;
Communicate regularly with business stakeholders to understand and align with business goals;
Interface with complex enterprise environments to design integrations and solutions that meet business needs;
Actively contribute to the codebase and support less experienced developers;
Manage a development backlog of bug fixes and feature requests across active and upcoming markets;
Coordinate the rollout of new features and support global expansion efforts;
Occasionally travel to key markets to collaborate with in-field teams and support feature planning or deployments;
Ensure a high standard of communication in English, both written and verbal, with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
- Experience with leadership on IT projects
- Solid knowledge of backend development with Java/Spring Boot;
- Strong frontend experience with React or Angular;
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL);
- Experience with mobile application projects is a plus;
- Comfortable working across both new feature development and production support;
- Excellent English skills for team communication and stakeholder engagement;
- Strong organizational and planning skills;
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
- Business-oriented mindset, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business value;
- Willingness to travel occasionally (US, LATAM).
