Position: SAP Core Project Manager
We are looking for aSAP Core Project Managerto lead SAP initiatives acrossLatin America, managing projects end to end fromscope definition through solution release, while ensuring operational efficiency throughout the system lifecycle. This role works closely with SAP Technical Leaders and Solution Architects, acting as a key facilitator between business and IT, and driving high-quality delivery in complex, cross-functional and global environments.
Role & Responsibilities:
Partner withSAP Technical Leaders and Solution Architectsto define project strategy, prioritization, effort estimations, and technical resource selection.
Establish clearproject scope, proposals, plans, and estimates, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Act as afacilitatorto resolve conflicts between local and global IT teams, as well as between IT and business stakeholders.
Manage SAP projects end to end, including:
Project planning, timelines, roles, and resource allocation
Leading cross-functional teams with IT and business partners
Tracking progress, managing risks and issues, and ensuring milestone and deliverable completion
Providing regular status updates to management and stakeholders
Develop and presentproject recommendationsto leadership, including IT strategy changes, technology choices, total cost of ownership, and business impact.
Leadproject implementation, coordinating local business and IT teams, and ensuring readiness across processes, training, governance, and organizational setup.
Direct and coordinate the work of internal teams and external consultants to build high-performing project teams.
Managebudgets, schedules, and performance standards, ensuring accountability against objectives.
Share project management best practices andmentor junior project managers.
Ensure compliance withQuality Systems, IT governance, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
Hands-on experience managingSAP projectsin regional and/or global environments.
Strong understanding ofSAP-supported business processes, including:
Order-to-Cash
Quote-to-Cash
Procure-to-Pay
Proven experience managingcross-functional and multicultural teams.
Experience implementing or supportingagile methodologies(e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP).
Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
Fluency inSpanish, English, and Portuguese(spoken and written).
Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
High accountability, proactive mindset, and structured problem-solving approach.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience leadingexternal consulting teams.
PMI certification and/or MSc in Project Management.
Experience working inregulated or quality-driven environments.
Exposure to global IT governance models.
The position must bebased in Brazil
The role isremote, with availability foron-site work if required
