Introduction:
Kaizen Labs is seeking a skilled SEO and Growth Marketing Consultant. This contract role is designed for a dynamic professional specialized in SEO and digital marketing strategies aimed at boosting lead generation and optimizing our engagement with local government entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns focused on lead generation within the local government sector, particularly for parks and recreation departments.
- Conduct on-page optimizations tailored to the specific content and audience needs of local government agencies, including meta tags, headers, URL structures, and keyword implementation.
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes focusing on site speed, mobile optimization, and overall website health.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify and target optimal keywords that align with local government and parks and recreation department interests.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics specific to local government agency outreach and compile detailed reports to guide strategy adjustments.
- Plan and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media management, with a focus on local government agency engagement.
- Develop messaging for various digital channels and manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent communication that resonates with local government partners.
- Analyze performance data across digital platforms and generate monthly reports to optimize future marketing efforts.
Skills:
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, AHrefs, and familiarity with XML, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to inform strategies and growth within the local government sector.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical details to non-technical audiences, including local government officials.
- Proactive and self-directed with strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with local government partners.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Technical Expertise:
- Expertise in managing on-site technical SEO, including addressing technical issues to meet best practices.
- Ability to establish and maintain a high-quality backlink profile for primary and related domains.
- Full understanding of the performance funnel from click to conversion, utilizing performance data to inform marketing decisions
• Experience with Wordpress preferred
Expectations:
- Demonstrated results in generating high-quality, effective backlinks and improving search engine rankings, particularly for websites related to local government and public sectors.
- Deep understanding of search engine crawling, rendering, indexing, and ranking processes.
- Experience managing multiple accounts and maximizing results from organic search.
