This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the full data lifecycle, from integration and migration to warehouse management and analytics. The Sr. Data Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain high-quality data pipelines that support strategic decision-making. You will analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and improve data management practices while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the evolution of the data infrastructure. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Exposure to cloud infrastructure and modern data tools will allow you to make a significant impact on both engineering and business outcomes.
Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines for integration, scrubbing, and ingestion of diverse datasets.
- Collaborate with data architects and cross-functional teams to improve data warehouses and analytics environments.
- Review and analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Recommend changes to improve database performance and resolve data issues.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers on projects and best practices.
- Ensure data integrity, reliability, and accessibility across the organization.
- Support the deployment of data solutions in cloud-based environments.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience with Snowflake, Postgres, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud Infrastructure-as-Code concepts; experience with Pulumi or Terraform is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
