Senior Software Developer in QA (Remote - Canada)

Senior Software Developer in QA position at Tempo Software, responsible for designing and maintaining automated test suites, embedding QA best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and Kotlin or Java
• Proven expertise in test automation using frameworks like Cypress or Playwright
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerized environments (e.g., AWS, EKS)
• Strong background in software QA, performance testing, and observability practices
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitHub CI/CD, Datadog, and security fundamentals
• Knowledge of or curiosity for AI-assisted QA tools and techniques
• Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset, able to work across Engineering, Product, and Design
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
