Implementation Architect - LegalWorks (Remote - US)

In this role, you will serve as a customer discovery and solution design expert for legal operations, focusing on automating and streamlining key workflows through a no-code process platform. You will collaborate closely with enterprise legal teams to understand their operational challenges, map processes, and translate complex requirements into actionable solution designs. Acting as a strategic advisor, you will ensure alignment with senior stakeholders, mentor implementation engineers, and define success metrics to measure the impact of delivered solutions. This role blends deep process knowledge, legal technology expertise, and strategic thinking to drive operational excellence in legal teams.

Accountabilities

• Lead discovery sessions with legal stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, and desired outcomes.
• Conduct legal process mapping and identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and optimize complex workflows.
• Translate findings into high-level solution designs, including scope, functional requirements, user journeys, and process documentation.
• Break down design documents into actionable requirements for implementation and future phases.
• Advise legal operations and senior legal leaders on the value and adoption of new process experiences.
• Partner with implementation engineers to ensure designs are executed effectively, providing mentorship and guidance throughout delivery.
• Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness and adoption of implemented solutions.
• Contribute to evolving discovery and design methodologies and templates for LegalWorks implementations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working directly with enterprise legal teams in legal operations, consulting, solutions architecture, or process improvement roles.
• Expertise in running workshops, stakeholder interviews, and gathering complex legal business requirements.
• Proven ability to create process requirements documents, flow diagrams, future-state workflows, and solution designs.
• Experience estimating delivery tasks and reviewing implementation estimates.
• Comfortable advising senior legal stakeholders, including General Counsel and CLOs.
• Deep understanding of legal technology stacks and best practices for enterprise legal operations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling skills to align cross-functional teams on vision and outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree required; technical degree is a plus.
• Builder mindset with ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex challenges.
