- Work on high-performance, reliable transaction indexing systems that deliver real-time blockchain data.
- Optimize API endpoints, databases, caching layers, and data pipelines for low-latency and high reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end developer experiences.
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, performance) to ensure high-quality releases.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production systems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to maintain platform stability.
- Flexibly contribute across backend and occasionally frontend or internal tooling to deliver complete solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Rust.
- Experience designing, building, and scaling web APIs or microservices with high performance and reliability.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), including data modeling, querying, and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud and container infrastructure, including Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP.
- Passion for code quality, automation, and building CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in remote and distributed teams.
- Self-driven, ownership-minded, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Blockchain or Web3 experience, with interest in decentralized networks.
- Experience building developer-focused tools, SDKs, or platforms.
- Knowledge of caching, observability, performance tuning, and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD tooling (ArgoCD).
- Open-source contributions or community involvement in developer ecosystems.
