Frontend Developer with .Net Skills (remote from Europe)

As a Frontend Developer with .NET expertise, you will play a central role in designing and building modern, scalable web applications that integrate seamlessly with backend microservices. You will contribute to both frontend and backend development, ensuring robust, secure, and high-performance implementations. This role involves working with modern web technologies such as Vue.js, TypeScript, and SASS, while also contributing to .NET-based microservices and REST API development. You will write unit and integration tests, implement authentication mechanisms, and maintain high-quality documentation. Collaborating across teams, you will influence design decisions and help deliver production-ready solutions in a fully remote, European environment.

Accountabilities

• Develop web frontend applications using Vue.js, TypeScript, and SASS, ensuring responsiveness and usability.
• Implement and maintain frontend and backend unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Manage frontend build configurations and related npm tasks.
• Contribute to .NET microservices development, implementing secure, scalable, and testable backend code.
• Integrate OAUTH authentication mechanisms and validate system behavior with integration tests.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, adhering to secure coding practices, logging, and auditing standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Requirements

• 14+ years of experience in IT with 5+ years in software development.
• 3+ years of frontend development using Vue.js and TypeScript, with at least two production-ready projects.
• Experience in ASP.NET Core or .NET 8+ backend development with production-ready REST APIs.
• Strong background in backend development using Microsoft .NET (C#) and .NET Core.
• 3+ years experience with microservices, scalable systems, and message-based communication via AMQP.
• Proficiency in CSS, HTML, and modern web component design.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, including frontend and backend validation.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and production-ready authentication mechanisms (OAUTH).
• Strong communication skills, ability to work remotely and independently.
• Must be an EU citizen and able to work remotely from Europe.
