As a Backend Engineer, you will work on the foundational systems that power high-scale infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across multiple platforms. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of distributed systems that serve both internal and external customers. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions while maintaining a strong focus on system efficiency and operational excellence. You will tackle complex technical challenges, participate in roadmap planning, and debug issues across multiple layers of the stack. Accountabilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems and distributed services across core technology platforms.
• Build reliable and high-performance solutions that support internal and external users.

• Collaborate closely with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Debug and resolve production issues across services and stack layers.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in languages such as Go, Java, C, or C++.
• 2–12+ years of professional hands-on software development experience.
• Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and contribute to shared success.
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to advocate for user experience internally.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with an entrepreneurial attitude.
