Automation Developer (Support Team)

The Global Finance Automation & Analytics team is tasked with digitalizing the workspace fostering a culture of continuous improvement in our business processes through automation and optimization. Not only do our automated solutions save thousands of human hours annually allowing business users to allocate time more efficiently to higher value-added processes but also eliminate manual errors. Through a detailed analysis we create custom tailored end-to-end automation solutions by adopting state-of-the-art modern technologies. Our automation catalogue currently features over 230 automated solutions, and it is constantly growing to cater for dynamically changing business environment by streamlining, optimizing, and strengthening our business systems.

Position type: Full-Time (Home based)


What are you going to do?

YOU will join our talented team of automation specialists to help us automate financial processes and solve the data problems of our Finance organization. You will be involved in many project phases such as design, development, testing and hyper-care.

You will be coding in Python, developing in Alteryx, and other leading technologies to redesign current processes using core Automation principles: efficiency, structure, maintainability, and simplicity.


Key responsibilities:

• Take part in process discovery sessions with clients of process AS-IS and gather knowledge on existing business problems and challenges
• Identify and analyze the biggest weak points of the AS-IS process
• Participate in the solution design considering available technologies and client’s requirements
• Develop and implement process automation initiatives
• Engage in code review sessions with Senior Developers and Technical Architects to meet highest standards
• Participate in proof of concepts for new Automation & Analytics opportunities
• Actively participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase of developed solutions
• Build relationships with Finance departments and other functional teams to identify potential business processes for automation

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree – preferably in IT, Finance, Math’s, or Economics
• Experience in Python is a must
• Strong communication skills (in English)
• Analytical mind-set & problem-solving skills
• Experience working in SSC environment – advantage
