Full timeTo advance the purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, this position staffs and/or coordinates assigned programs and projects sponsored by field or national ministries.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESPersonal:
- Be a maturing disciple of Jesus Christ: growing in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every ethnicity and culture, and God's purposes in the world
Assigned Duties:
- Staff and/or coordinate assigned programs and projects as directed
- Support Program Manager with assigned tasks
- Provide administrative assistance to Program Manager
- Work in partnership with other departments as needed on specific projects
- Ensure facilities are prepared for guests, welcome group leaders, and host groups as needed
Develop a Fundraising Base
- Raise financial support (amount to be determined) if applicable for particular program/project
QUALIFICATIONS
- Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith
- Commitment to InterVarsity’s mission and purpose
- Ability to take charge of tasks and work independently without close supervision
- Ability to develop procedures for doing work
- Ability to organize events and necessary details
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work irregular and extended hours as required
- Familiarity with all aspects of the program operation or assigned project
- Working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications
Pay: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living. The actual salary received,including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual’s ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details.
