This position is designed for individuals passionate about shaping the future of user experience and front-end technology landscapes, offering a comprehensive learning experience that goes beyond conventional internship programs.
Responsibilities/Duties:
As an xStudio intern with a focus in UX/UI design and front-end development at IntelliBridge, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic team, with responsibilities that span across several critical areas:
- Contribute to developing and maintaining highly responsive, visually appealing web applications and design system components that match specifications.
- Assist in the design and improvement of the user interface of our internal design system.
- Support our xStudio operations by contributing to team and project goals and involve discovery, design, and front-end code development and process, performing data analysis, and enriching datasets.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Contribute to user stories and document detailed reports of work accomplished.
- Engage with our team of experts to understand and apply best practices in UX/UI design, front-end development and data science operations.
Willingness to Learn:
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Real-world tools such as Git, Jira, and others
- JavaScript Libraries such as React and Angular
- Figma and/or other tools
- Human-centered design practices
- Working on a cross-functional team
- Visual design principals
- Design system principals
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or Design program at an accredited institution.
- Relevant experience via coursework and projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
- Ability to work well on a team
- Have stable internet connectivity
- Ability to work in the U.S. and must be in the U.S.
Education Qualifications:
- Pursuing degree in Computer Science or Design
Location: This is a remote position. Ability to work in the Eastern time zone is critical.
Schedule: Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. (Hours subject to change based on operations tempo/mission requirements.
Travel: Travel to the IntelliBridge offices may be required on an as-needed basis.
